Texas-born 2H moved to Seattle WA many moons ago to continue pursuing his lifelong passion for art. He has shown internationally in exhibitions from Los Angeles, California, to Sydney, Australia. Within a short period of time, he has been recognized by several publications and illustration annuals as a progressive talent to watch for in the scene with the foresight to set new trends. He is represented by several galleries including Thinkspace Gallery in Los Angeles, and The BlackBook creative talent agency out of New York, Chicago and San Francisco.
This showing of his new body of work, "Twilight to Midnight," consists of deeply layered and textured pieces that all began to take form from darkness. An approach interpreted through living in the polluted urban environment and the struggle of pursuing the life of an artist emerged in constant tragic beauty.
The process is a unique approach for 2H, deviating from his usual style by working from light to dark canvases.
Also on display will be a large painted installation along with a few other street-inspired surprises.
