Bio

Although a Seattle native, Sarah has spent most of the past few years in New York City. There she completed her undergraduates at New School University, where she studied modern art history/theory and real photography (film), and has been called the “Clementine Greenberg” of our times for her critical eye. She had the great privilege of working for Pierogi 2000 Gallery in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. She also assisted in curating projects all around New York’s underground and closely observed art world. Sarah recently re-rooted herself in the Emerald City to try and create the energy and possibilities of the New York art world in the great Northwest. She will sleep soundly at night on the day that the creative locals will be able to quit their day jobs, and remove their “art hobbyist” titles to place themselves on the internationally recognized art map!
