Bio

Michele Bosak earned her BFA from Kendall College of Art and Design and her MFA and Certificate in Museum Studies from Northern Illinois University, where she was the recipient of a Distinguished University Fellowship.

She grew up in Chicago and is currently resides in Grand Rapids, MI where she is a gallery Preparator and Designer. As any true Piscean, her interests and influences are constantly shifting and varied, but she loves...textiles, thrifting, modern furniture, strong coffee, dictionaries, sushi, community, shadows, pocket doors, things that are carefully bundled or wrapped, traveling, music...lots of music, profiles, filing systems (anyway to compartmentalize something) trains, speeding, sleeping, cooking, roller skating, animals, and of course...art... but not necessarily in that order.
