Liza Corbett's drawings and paintings are figural but fanciful — elegant women, menacing animals, or a hybrid of the two. She works as an illustrator, artist and designer in New York City. Her published illustration work includes magazines, literary journals, book jackets and children's books. She studied illustration at Syracuse University and painting at Studio Art Centers International in Florence.
