Juri Ueda (a.k.a. Juriu) is a watercolor artist in Japan. She first became aware of her interest in art when she started doodling costumed stickfigures at the age of 20, and eventually attended the Academy of Art University, San Francisco, where she received her BFA in Illustration.

More than anything, Juri loves colors and enjoys making them. She lives in Osaka, Japan, with 3 cats, a chihuahua and a lot of plants.
