He also produces stickers for worldwide distribution and screen prints his own particularly offensive tee-shirts. Known for his cranky attitude and roguish figure he can often be found with fellow artist 14BOLT drinking in east LA.
Jawa is a proud member of the AOA Collective and a founding member of Zure Stilo.
My art is about the future. But also about the past. All my work is concerned with form and abstraction. It depicts characters and shapes from the future, from my imagination, in a very traditional method: print and mark making. Im concerned with the perfectly messy line. The happy accident. The barely abstract shape that makes people struggle and the suggestive collection of lines. I also like fucking peoples shit up.
