gaNyan is a San Francisco based artist/illustrator. Living in the ever so hip and gentrified Mission District, he appreciates the fact that he is living in the sunniest part of SF and enjoys the view from his 5th floor studio apartment. Graduating from San Francisco State University in 2002 with a BA in painting/printmaking, he has been hustling his folkloric daemons, faeries, interstellar characters into some of the coolest galleries and boutiques this side of the Pacific.

My art revolves around the exploration of folklore, my love for cartoons, comic books, and human existence.
