It is important to me that my work is not preconceived, but born from the process, that the outcome is unanticipated, so that I can express unrestricted creativity in the moment. This is how I like my art to manifest, and how inspiration manifests within me. I challenge myself to continuously create in this manner, and focusing on the process allows me to draw from the material of a deeply internal place. I create gestures and lines with a strong physicality, these expressions are made solely in the moment and of myself - in attempts to capture the sensations enveloping that specific moment. It is then that I start to look deeper into crafting the work, building upon it, accentuating and defining forms and details. The outcome is art that is created in the same way that I approach life, with fluidity, spontaneity, and creativity.
